These are pics from Gotcha Day, yesterday. I will try to take a close up of this beautiful boy to post, so you can really see how adorable he is. He went right into Ken's arms as soon as he saw us! He was shy with me at first, but after I held out a Mickey Mouse doll to him, he came to me with a smile. After we got up to our Hotel room with him, he had two MAJOR meltdowns. We sang hymns to him and just tried to soothe him through it. He slept ALL through the night! He woke up with a smile on his face this morning. He has already learned some english words! His first was "uh-oh", followed by my personal favorite "shoe" and this morning, I put a flower in my hair and said "pretty" and he smiled and pointed and said "pretty". We ADORE him. I was so excited to see Gotcha Day came early for you. He is so precious. I get weepy thinking of Sam's HUGE adjustment and pray he is transitioning well. I have been praying he will understand the language of love and for that to be enough right now. I am glad he is picking up some of the words you're using and have no doubt he'll continue to add to his vocabulary.
We're so excited for you and are thrilled Sam is now part of your family.

AWWWWWWWWWWWW. God is shining in all of you. Love you bunches, Mom....and Grandma (big tears).
We are SO excited!!!! LiLi keeps insisting we go back to the picture, she keeps saying "An Ning, An Ning"- she absolutely remembers him!!!!! I pointed to your pictures and showed her that he has a Mama and a Daddy now, and the smile on her face was incredible. What a gift to know her friend has also found his family. And he is just as adorable as ever! Our son AJ is also really happy- he wanted to tell you he is glad that An Ning has his family now. He really stole our heart in China, I am so happy for him and for you. We continue to pray for each of you- the time in China is so precious, and goes so fast.
